Join us for an afternoon of inspiration, connection, and impact at our Cup of Care Tea, an annual fundraising event hosted by the Trained to Care Foundation. This elegant Sunday gathering brings together loved ones and friends in our neighborhood, current nurses, aspiring nurses, healthcare students, caregivers, and community partners who believe in investing in the next generation of compassionate healthcare professionals. Together, we will raise scholarship funds for Personal Care Aide (PCA) and Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) students while celebrating the heart of nursing — Service, Resilience, and Care.

 

Why This Event Matters

The Trained to Care Foundation provides scholarships to individuals pursuing careers as Personal Care Aides (PCA) and Certified Nurse Aides (CNA). Many of these students are working adults, caregivers of loved ones, or individuals overcoming financial barriers to enter the healthcare field.

Your attendance directly helps:

• Fund scholarships for aspiring healthcare professionals
• Reduce financial barriers for PCA and CNA students
• Strengthen the local healthcare workforce
• Expand access to compassionate, well-trained caregivers

The Cup of Care Tea will include:

• Inspirational Speaker, Historical Storyteller & Character Performer "Queen Elizabeth" by Theresa Gee who will be sharing all about tea etiquette
• Scholarship recipient testimony from 2025 Scholarship Recipient Ryleigh Lee
• A silent auction benefiting the foundation
• Corporate-sponsored tables
• Tea service and a light fare of delicacies 
• Meaningful connection with fellow healthcare providers and friends in the neighborhood
